Check account costs and conditions

Compare trading costs

Check the spread, commission per side, overnight financing and account-currency conversion for the instruments you plan to trade. A cTrader commission quote should not be assumed to apply to an MT4 or MT5 account.

Check the company and symbols

Check which company is named in the account agreement and verify that it is regulated. Confirm that your intended instruments and account type are available through the specific MetaTrader version you choose.

Getting started with MT4 or MT5

Open the broker’s website or registration page, confirm eligibility and choose the platform offered for your account. Use the broker’s official download or client portal, then try a demo before deciding whether to fund a live account.

If you already use Expert Advisors or custom indicators, check that they support the selected MetaTrader version. Test installation, order sizing and behaviour in that broker’s demo environment.

A demo uses virtual funds. It does not establish live execution quality, withdrawal reliability or future trading results. Leveraged CFDs carry a substantial risk of loss.

Download IC Markets MetaTrader 5 or use your chosen broker’s official platform instructions.
