AI coding agent for TradingView

Build TradingView strategies and indicators with Xen AI

Turn a written trading idea into Pine Script v6. Xen helps you develop strategies, indicators and chart tools, with complete source you can copy into TradingView, test and refine.

Build with Xen

From an idea to a project you can test

Develop strategies

Define entries, exits, position sizing, stops and targets. Specify bar-close confirmation and other execution assumptions so the script reflects your intended rules.

Create chart indicators

Build overlays, separate-pane indicators, plots, markers and alerts. Explain the formula and how the output should appear on your chart.

Clarify the specification

Use Prompt Builder when important decisions are missing. Larger projects can follow a Build Plan that introduces features in testable stages.

Refine existing Pine Script

Provide the complete current script and request a focused change. Keep the latest source and saved revisions together as the project develops.

Repair Pine Editor errors

Return the exact TradingView diagnostic with the current source. Xen can help revise the script; compile the updated version in Pine Editor to check it.

Convert indicators and strategies

Bring complete source from another platform into a Pine Script conversion workflow. Check calculations, bar timing and repainting implications against the original.

Your workflow

Build, check and refine in stages

01

Choose your task

Start a strategy or indicator, modify existing Pine source or convert another platform’s code.

02

Review the script

Inspect the complete Pine Script v6 file and use requirements verification to compare it with your request.

03

Compile in Pine Editor

Copy or download the source, paste it into TradingView and save it to compile.

04

Check chart behaviour

Inspect signals on charts and run strategies in Strategy Tester. Refine one tested feature at a time.

Learn from testing

Review the trades behind a backtest

Use Xen’s independent analysis task with a Strategy Tester List of Trades CSV. Explore the outcomes before deciding what to investigate next. Run the strategy and any follow-up tests in TradingView; a review of past trades does not establish future performance.

Questions

Working with Xen for TradingView

Do I need to know Pine Script?

You can start with a plain-English description. Explain the calculations and trading behaviour precisely, then inspect and test the result in TradingView.

Where do compilation and backtesting happen?

Use TradingView’s Pine Editor for compilation and Strategy Tester for backtesting. Xen helps generate and repair source; TradingView determines how the script runs.

Can Xen execute trades through my broker?

The Xen workspace does not connect to your broker or place trades. Its role is to help you develop Pine Script and review results.

Review and test every version. Generated code can contain errors. Compile in TradingView, check the logic and test with historical data and a demo or simulation environment before considering live use. Historical results do not guarantee future performance.
